Flying Geese are one of those quilt blocks that look wonderfully simple… until you start trying to get every point lined up perfectly! The 2" × 4" Flying Geese Foundation Paper from It's Sew Emma gives you a helping hand with the accuracy, using pre-printed, shaded and numbered sections so you can concentrate on the fun bit — choosing the fabrics. The paper guides you through the piecing order and helps keep those lovely sharp goose points where they belong.

There are 42 sheets in each pad, and each sheet makes two Flying Geese units, giving you a very useful 84 Flying Geese blocks per pad. The finished units measure 2" × 4", with an unfinished size of 2½" × 4½", and the individual foundation sheets measure 6¼" square. Fabric cutting sizes are included, and once you've sewn your way through the printed lines, the lightweight paper is designed to tear away easily.
