Ready to tackle the wonderfully twisty Snail Trail block without losing your own trail along the way? The 6" Snail Trail Quilt Block Foundation Paper from It's Sew Emma takes the tricky-looking part out of the equation with clearly shaded and numbered sections to guide your fabric placement. It's a great way to get those swirling shapes and points looking neat and consistent without having to wrestle with complicated cutting and piecing.
Each pad contains 42 foundation paper sheets, with one complete 6" Snail Trail block made from each sheet, so there's enough paper for 42 blocks. The sheets are 7" square, include fabric cut sizes and a quilt layout guide, and are designed to be sewn through and torn away when your block is complete. It's also Layer Cake-friendly, making this a particularly handy option if you've got a stack of 10" squares waiting for their turn at the sewing machine.
