These aren't flat, ordinary basics either. Alison Glass has created Color Camp as a collection of two-colour fabrics that behave like solids while bringing extra texture and depth to your patchwork. The range moves beautifully from lighter values through to rich darks, making it particularly useful when you're playing with contrast and colour relationships.

Dusk is one of the four colour families used in Color Compass, the Nancy Rink quilt designed specifically to showcase Alison Glass's Color Camp Basics collection. The Color Compass pattern is available at Rainbow Stash, and the finished quilt brings all four colour families together into one spectacular colour study.
