Each fabric uses a two-colour design, adding subtle texture, depth and movement while still letting the colour itself take centre stage. The Dusk family moves through different hues and values, from lighter blues and purples through to those delicious deeper shades.

Designed by Nancy Rink, Color Compass is an 84" × 84" quilt created to showcase the full Color Camp palette, with the four colour families working together to create the colour-wheel effect. The Color Compass pattern is available at Rainbow Stash, making this Dusk bundle a particularly handy starting point for exploring that section of the quilt.

Color Camp is also the fabric line Alison Glass is using for her free Alison Glass Community Quilt Along: Color Study. The quilt along begins 2 October 2026 and explores colour and value through a series of blocks made with the Color Camp Basics palette. Why Fat Eighths?

Fat eighths are the sweet spot when you want lots of different fabrics without needing a large cut of every one. They're fabulous for smaller patchwork pieces, appliqué, foundation paper piecing, scrappy quilts and projects where colour variety is more important than having metres of each fabric.
