Color Compass Quilt Pattern by Nancy Rink – Alison Glass Color Camp

If you loved Amish With a Twist 2, you’re going to want to take a look at Color Compass! Nancy Rink has taken her popular Amish With a Twist 2 design and given it a completely new colour adventure using Alison Glass's Color Camp fabrics. Rather than being a brand-new quilt design, Color Compass is the specially reworked version created to showcase this incredible collection from lightest lights through to the deepest colours.

The quilt is organised into four colour sections — Dusk, Grove, Bloom and Sun — making it much easier to see where all those glorious fabrics belong. Color Camp contains 84 fabrics in total, with 21 fabrics in each colour family, and the finished Color Compass quilt measures approximately 84" × 84". It's traditionally pieced with straightforward cutting and sewing, so while the finished quilt has plenty of visual impact, you don't need a complicated technique to get there. There's an option and instructions to expand the quilt to 98" x 98" with a dancing star border.

Best of all, you can choose which colourway speaks to you. Dusk, Grove, Bloom and Sun are each available as colour groups, so you can build the quilt section by section or go all in with the complete Color Camp palette. The pattern specifically identifies where the fabrics from each colour group are used, taking some of the colour-planning guesswork out of this wonderfully colourful quilt.
